Functieomschrijving
Onze klant, gevestigd in Tienen, is gespecialiseerd in de ontwikkeling, productie en verkoop van zaden. Ze zijn voortdurend bezig met het ontwikkelen van nieuwe resistenties en rassen door middel van proefvelden. Om hun team te versterken, zijn ze op zoek naar een technisch manager.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Je zorgt voor de juiste werking en het onderhoud van de serres, groeikamers en technische infrastructuur binnen de Breedingafdeling.
- Je beheert en monitort de werking van de serre-installaties en nutsvoorzieningen, rekening houdend met de technische vereisten en planning voor zaadproductie en (a)biotische stressproeven.
- Je beheert en past de instellingen van de automatisering aan in functie van de behoeften van de operationele gebruikers. Hetzelfde doe je voor de energiesystemen, om een kosteneffectieve klimaatsturing te realiseren.
- Je stelt creatieve oplossingen voor om de (technische) werking van de installaties te verbeteren en je ondersteunt bij projecten gerelateerd aan verbeteringen en uitbreidingen van deze faciliteiten (offertes opvragen, toezicht houden op de installatie, ).
- Je zorgt voor het onderhoud (preventief en curatief) van de infrastructuur i.s.m. externe partners en de interne technische afdeling, en je assisteert bij onderhoudstaken indien nodig.
- Je stuurt tijdelijk personeel en externe partners aan m.b.t. het onderhoud van installaties/aanpassingen.
- Je beheert het onderhouds- en investeringsbudget voor de faciliteiten onder toezicht van de Breeding Operations Manager.
- Je bestelt technische benodigdheden en verbruiksartikelen.
- Je ondersteunt en traint het personeel m.b.t. het gebruik van de faciliteiten en automatisatiesoftware (Priva, Sanscada Certhon, ) en je schrijft protocollen over correct en veilig werken.
- Je neemt deel aan de wachtdienst.
- Je ondersteunt operationele taken en processen binnen de installaties en in andere R&D-faciliteiten (adviseren over verbeteringen, aanpassen van parameters, ).
- Je zorgt voor naleving van de SHE-regelgeving tijdens onderhoudswerkzaamheden of technische interventies van externe firma's.
Profiel
- Je hebt een opleiding als Bachelor of industrieel Ingenieur in electro-mechanica, biowetenschappen, electrotechniek of een vergelijkbare richting en hebt een grote interesse voor de technische kant van biologische processen.
- Je hebt een relevante werkervaring van minstens 1 jaar.
- Je hebt een goede kennis van het Nederlands, Frans en Engels.
- Je hebt interesse in plantenkweek in een R&D-omgeving en onderhoud van de betreffende installaties.
- Je hebt praktische kennis van de onderhoudswerkzaamheden in een industriële setting.
- Je kan een heftruck besturen of bent bereid dit te leren.
- Je hebt een degelijke kennis PC-gebruik (Windows, Office) en interesse in sturing van processen (PLC, bedrijfsnetwerken).
- Je werkt nauwkeurig en hebt oog voor detail. Je bent flexibel, creatief en oplossingsgericht.
