Position description

We are looking for a (Junior) Business Development Officer to join a vibrant Events & Sales Team in a passionate lobby organisation. He/She is responsible for exhibition and sponsorship sales at WindEurope large and small events, including administrative follow-up. He/she will report to the Head of Events Sales.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the achievement of exhibition and sponsorship sales targets;
  • Work closely with the Events Sales team on sales and sponsorship packages;
  • Respond to sales enquires in the sales inbox;
  • Contribute to the event sales reporting ensuring the CRM data entry and invoicing is completed as required;
  • Represent WindEurope at external industry events (including ours) to promote and sell events;
  • This position requires occasional travelling.

  • Customer-oriented and problem-solving attitude.

Experience

  • Bachelor/master’s degree in business, economics, marketing, communication or related field;
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant job experience (knowledge of exhibition/sponsorship sales is an advantage).

Software

  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word);
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics or similar CRM software is a plus.

Languages

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (written and spoken).
