Mission : 
Reporting hierarchically to the France & BNL Controlling Director and functionally to the Benelux General Manager, the BNL F&A Manager will be responsible for the oversight of all Finance, Planning and Reporting activities for the Benelux. 
In this role, she / he will contribute actively to the strategic vision of those two markets and to Codir decisions and action plans. 
Additionally, she / he will partner with Commercial, Marketing, Retail and Digital, ensuring investments are based on sound financial and profitability analysis. 
She / he will be responsible for all Facility- related topics, amongst others, rentals, fleet, sustainability, IT and overall third parties relationships.
She / he will be managing one BNL Facility Manager, based in Brussels

Ce que vous aurez à faire

Responsibilities / Key Tasks :  

1. F&A :
Business partnership : 
- Collaborates with the France & BNL Controlling Director and BNL Business Units Management Teams to monitor, analyse, and evaluate the business activity both on-going and new projects. 
- Provides regular and accurate information on financial performance and generates the relevant analysis to identify opportunities and alerts about risks that may affect the business. 
- Participates in the development of cross functional and new local / global projects. 
- Becomes a key partner to ensure the rigor and veracity between agreed commercial conditions and financial data. 

Planning :
- Leads Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting processes for P&L items (in coordination with the France & BNL Controlling Director and local Management Team members), ensuring its coherence, accuracy, and submission through Company's data entry tools within fixed deadlines. 

Monitoring :
- Supports in the generation of monthly financial reporting - including global P&L, P&L per client and per brand, Advertising & Promotional costs, Fixed costs, main financial indicators, other reports - within Company's deadlines. 
- Performs monthly quantitative and qualitative analysis of unit performance. 
- Contributes in ensuring the accuracy and exhaustiveness of financial records and proper documentation support in line with local legal requirements, Company's processes and procedures. 
- Controls invoice codification and provision management. 
- Contributes in maintaining appropriate internal financial controls across all operations following the Company guidelines and General Audit rules. 
- Works closely with HQ and Local Teams to update and improve business processes in line with local legal and tax requirements and Corporate Policies and Procedures. 
- Co-manage Internal, External Audit and Tax inspections. 
- Consequently, watches out for any optimization possible, availability of new financial opportunities and instruments. 

Control :
- Supports Business Units General Managers in the safeguarding of the overall profitability of the Company, controlling that the P&L KPIs are achievable trough regular analysis of unit performance, proper and timely communication with the relevant stakeholders. 
- Supports the monitoring of financial and operational performance against targets by identifying where performance may be at risk and alerting the relevant stakeholders. 


2. Facility : 
Rentals : 
- Links with HQ Facility and local landlords to negotiate terms and potential lease extensions. 
- Links with HQ IT to implement new technical installations/solutions, in line with Group’s requirements. 
- Leads the implementation of sustainable initiatives (waste and energy management). 

Fleet :
- Leads business relationship with ALD, ensuring optimization of our vehicles, damages, costs, fleet renewal. 
- Co-manages with HR the car policies and updates.
- Ensures proper allocation of cars and budgets, in line with the migration to a greener fleet environment

IT: 
- Links with local IT consultant to ensure proper support and maintenance (mobiles, laptops, servers, connectivity). 
- Renegotiates IT costs with external providers, like communication or mobile subscriptions. 

Third parties:
- With the support of the BNL Facility Manager, manages suppliers’ contracts, renegotiate, strive for synergies within the BNL perimeter. 
- Ensures constant challenge and optimization of business relationships, aiming for more agility, simplicity, and control.

Requirements for the role : 
Experience : 
- 7-10 Years work experience 
- Relevant experience in F&A / Business Controller or Commercial Management Accountant functions, preferably in either luxury goods or fast consumer goods (FMCG) industries

Education :
- Master’s degree from University or Business School in Finance, Controlling or Accounting Management

Languages :
- English and French fluent
- Spanish would be a plus

Competencies :
-Leadership in his function towards HQ office and Business Units management / Codir
-Strategic vision on the Business and capabilities to stimulate, challenge, recommend
-Strong management & communication skills, Team player driven
-Strong Analytical skills
-Curiosity and high level of energy
-Available for regular travels to Brussels & to a less extent to Amsterdam
