This AP Accountant role is a key part of the Accounting & Finance team within the Professional Services industry, providing essential accounting support and ensuring the smooth operation of all AP accounting functions.

Description

  • Managing AP accounting functions and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Processing invoices, reconciling accounts and handling vendor queries.
  • Managing and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Performing month-end closing activities and preparing AP reports.
  • Assisting in the preparation of year-end audit schedules.
  • Collaborating with the wider finance team on ad-hoc projects.
  • Continuously improving processes and systems to increase efficiency.
  • Ensuring the accurate and timely payment of all company invoices.

Profile

A successful AP Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an AP Accountant role within the Professional Services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of AP processes and related accounting principles.
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
