AP Accountant is responsible for processing invoices and expense claims in a timely and high-quality manner as defined by Service Level Agreements and Customer expectations, responds to assigned inquiries, resolves open items with vendors, and collaborates closely with the Finance team.

Description

  • Book all vendor invoices and expense claims
  • Follow up on invoices not approved.
  • You collect the receipts in order to book the Visa statements.
  • Follow up on supplier reminders.
  • Analyse the aging of suppliers and take action to pay the invoices in time.
  • Communicating with Shared Service Centre on accounts payable issues, e.g. setting up suppliers in the system.
  • Ensuring all relevant firm's standards and guidelines are met

Profile

  • You have a minimum 3-4 years' experience in Accounting (AP) in an international environment.
  • You have a solid knowledge of VAT in Belgium.
  • You have an excellent knowledge of Excel.
  • You have good communication skills, both written and verbal, and are fluent in English (mandatory), French or Dutch.
  • Experience in a professional services firm is a plus
