To strengthen our Sales department, Beiersdorf Belgium is looking for a dynamic & enthusiastic Sales Assistant.

As a Sales Assistant, you will work in very close collaboration with the Key Account Managers, maintaining long term relationship with our customers and maximizing sales opportunities with the intend to (over)deliver topline (Net Sales and Value Market Share) in a sustainable way. Your main responsibilities will include: 

Customer Relationships:

  • Develop broad based strategic business relationship across the customers to ensure an integrated business to business relationship
  • Develop and execute action plans to meet our targets. 

Promotions:

  • Follow-up of the promotional plan agreed with the customer, delivering all necessary information to the customer while respecting internal & external deadlines.

Assortment Management:

  • Follow-up of the assortment agreed with the customer, delivering all necessary information to the customer to ensure a timely introduction of novelties & relaunches.

Field Support:

  • Deliver all necessary information to the sales reps (promotions, assortment), close collaboration and strong and followed up support.
  • Responsible for the operational maintenance of the tracking tool used by the field force by raising support tickets & ensuring follow-up. 

Internal follow-up:

  • With marketing for introductions / relaunches (fiche technique, pictures, samples)
  • With trade marketing for promo displays (composition, pictures)
  • With Customer manager for GDSN publications (introductions & promo)
  • Responsible for organising meetings & exchange with the sales reps and the operational follow-up of the tracking tool
Your Profile

What it takes to join us? 

  • Bachelor - Master or similar degree level in a relevant field (sales, business administration,...);
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Fluency in Dutch, French & English is strongly preferred;
  • Experienced in SAP, MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint & Teams)
  • Customer oriented and able to build credible relationships. 
  • High level of energy and positivity based on a sincere personality,
  • Strong planning & organisation skills
  • Result, pro-active & solution oriented team player
  • Courageous mindset with attention for details and respect of the deadlines
  • Pragmatic & positive mindset: simplicity in communication and way-of-working
