Summary

About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the 650th Military Group. Serves as Logistic Management Specialist integrating functions of supply, maintenance, procurement, and quality assurance into logistics activities required to accomplish the mission.

Duties

• Utilize several automated systems to input and gather information for reports.
• Serve as the S4 Intelligence Property Book Officer (IPBO), providing logistical support to detachments in 20 locations within Europe and various forward deployed locations throughout the World in support of NATO operations.
• Contracting Officer Representative for Supplies and Services Contracts from initiation to completion of packets.
• Make all management decisions independently, with work related decisions affecting the entire Group.
• Articulate and communicates to the team the assignment, project, problem to be solved, actionable events, milestones, and/or program issues under review, and deadlines and time frames for completion.
• Act as liaison with higher headquarters and other agencies representing the Group in coordination and planning activities.
• Oversee the procurement of automated data processing equipment (ADPE) IAW prescribed regulations.
• Manage Intelligence Contingency Funds (ICF) Purchases for the GRP.
• Plan the total cradle-to-grave life cycle logistics support for 650th MI Group, integrating separate functions of supply, maintenance, procurement, and quality assurance into logistics activities required to accomplish the mission.
