Your key tasks and responsibilities will be to undertake project work in Flanders (main focus) and abroad (as opportunities arise), predominantly in the following service areas: Field work supervision on a range of complex projects in contaminated sites; Managing of soil & groundwater investigations, groundwater monitoring campaigns, risk assessment and remediations; Reporting; and Stakeholder management (subcontractors, clients, regulator) with a focus on keeping close ties to clients and understanding of their needs. Ideal candidates can demonstrate the following: A Bachelor or Master’s degree in environmental sciences, engineering, geology, chemistry, biology or similar; Knowledgeable of applicable local & European environmental legislation. Proven experience in the field of soil & groundwater investigations and/or experience with remediations. Auditing experience is a plus. Fluent proficiency of Dutch, as well as English. Strong health and safety background and behaviour-based safety and willing to supervise work on field from a EHS perspective. Familiar with AutoCAD/GIS and other standard software; and Excellent written and communications skills.
