Het Server Team is verantwoordelijk voor het beheer van de Elia Group 'Server' omgeving en het leveren van de diensten die bij die omgeving horen.

Diensten worden geleverd met betrekking tot: serverplatforms (Windows, Linux), databasesystemen (SQL, Oracle, MongoDB), bestands- en printservices, mailingservices, certificaatservices, Citrix-services op afstand, Skype for Business, cloudservices, back-up- en herstelservices.
Het Server Team bestaat uit de volgende competentiecentra: Server Wincore pool, Server Application pool, Server Cloud pool, Server Infrastructure platform services, Server project pool en Server Operations.

Het Server Operations team beheert de servers en opslag van de Elia Group volgens de richtlijnen van de domeinexperts van het Server Team. Dit omvat installaties, upgrades, wijzigingen, monitoring, back-up & restore en het operationeel houden van de servers.

Gezien de grootte van het serverpark, hebben we de serveroperaties opgesplitst in de volgende competentiedomeinen: Server Team Single Point of Contact, Server Operations Windows, Server Operations Linux, Server Operations Oracle, Server Operations Storage and Backup.

Het Server Operations team wil een Server Team Lead aanwerven voor de dagelijkse leiding van onze Linux /Oracle serveroperaties.

Je zal samen met je team instaan voor het operationeel (24/7) houden van meer dan 4000 servers, business- & core business-applicaties in 5 datacenters en dat voor ongeveer 6000 gebruikers van de Elia Group.

  • Je zorgt voor de vlotte werking van de serverinfrastructuur en -diensten voor ELIA (België) en 50HERTZ (Duitsland).
  • Je beheert het Server Operations Competentie Center dat toegespitst is op Linux Servers, OpenShift & Oracle databases.
  • Je ontwikkelt toekomstige serverplatforms om de digitalisering en innovatie te bevorderen.
  • Je werkt samen met IT-architecten om stabiele, veilige en kostenefficiënte serverplatforms te onderhouden.
  • Je hebt de dagelijkse leiding van de operationele teams.
  • Je plant en monitort de operationele activiteiten om de deadlines te halen.
  • Je bent de contactpersoon voor het IT Service Management en de ticketing tool.
  • Je staat in voor de opvolging van technische problemen en incident-escalaties en zorgt daarbij voor maximale beschikbaarheid.
  • Je beheert belangrijke IT-projecten binnen Elia Group.
  • Je vertegenwoordigt het Server Team in vergaderingen met partners, leveranciers en stakeholders binnen het bedrijf.
  • Je leidt en beheert het Server team (Linux) met het oog op een optimale serveromgeving.
  • Je voert kwaliteitscontroles uit om de maximale beschikbaarheid van de systemen te waarborgen.
  • Je maakt deel uit van een stand-bydienst (24/7), met een beurtrol van 1 week om de 6 weken, om de continuïteit van de operaties te verzekeren.

Vereisten:

  • Je hebt een bachelor- of masterdiploma in IT of gerelateerde richting.
  • Je hebt minimum 7 jaar ervaring in IT (Linux) Server-omgeving (min. 500 gebruikers).
  • Je hebt minimum 5 jaar ervaring als teamleider.
  • Je hebt een uitgebreide technische expertise in Linux, Oracle, OpenShift, Networking & Security, Storage & Virtualization.
  • Je hebt uitstekende communicatievaardigheden.
  • Je kunt heel goed plannen en organiseren.
  • Met je analytische aanpak los je problemen op.
  • Je bent een teamplayer.
  • Je beheerst zeer goed Nederlands of Frans met een goede mondelinge kennis van de andere landstaal.
  • Je hebt een zeer goede kennis Engels; kennis van het Duits is een pluspunt.
  • Je bent bereid om twee keer per jaar naar Duitsland te reizen.
