Electronics Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Engineer who will have key responsibilities in the design, development, and validation of electronic systems.

This role involves coordinating PCB design, testing and validating components, collaborating closely with firmware engineers, and contributing to system-level hardware development.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless hardware integration, optimizing system performance, and troubleshooting electronic components across various stages of product development.

The role also requires hands-on work in the lab, utilizing advanced debugging tools and methodologies to validate and refine designs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Oversee schematic design and PCB layout using tools like Altium, Cadence, or KiCad.
2. Work closely with hardware engineers to optimize component selection and signal integrity.
3. Ensure PCB designs meet manufacturing and industry compliance standards.
4. Develop and execute test plans for ASICs, ensuring performance and reliability.
5. Utilize lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, etc.) for debugging.
6. Work with ASIC design teams to refine test methodologies and design improvements.
7. Partner with firmware developers to ensure seamless hardware-software integration.
8. Assist in debugging firmware-hardware interactions, including communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART).
9. Provide hardware support for embedded system development and validation.
10. Contribute to the design of complex electronic systems, integrating multiple hardware components.
11. Work with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance, power efficiency, and reliability.
12. Conduct hardware bring-up, debugging, and troubleshooting at the system level.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
2. 3-7 years of experience in hardware design, testing, or system development.
3. Proficiency in PCB design tools (Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or equivalent).
4. Experience with ASIC testing methodologies and lab instrumentation.
5. Knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and real-time hardware debugging.
6. Familiarity with power management, high-speed design, and signal integrity principles.
7. Understanding of communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Ethernet).
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
9. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
10. Excellent communication skills for documenting and presenting designs.
