Consultant Ariba Downstream

SAP Ariba – Ariba Downstream – Guided Buying – Procurement – Source-to-Pay – S2P – Workflow Optimisation – Incident Management – Functional/Technical – Documentation – Hybrid – Paris We are looking for a highly skilled SAP Ariba Downstream Consultant with solid Guided Buying experience to support, optimise, and enhance procurement operations. The ideal consultant brings strong functional and technical knowledge, operates autonomously, and is comfortable improving workflows in a dynamic environment. Location: Paris ( hybrid depending on project phase) Start Date: Immediate Duration: 9+ months (extension possible) Daily Rate: To be discussed Key Responsibilities: Configure and optimise Ariba Downstream processes, with a strong focus on Guided Buying. Support day-to-day run activities, including incident management, troubleshooting, and user assistance. Contribute to documentation, white papers, and the improvement of existing workflows. Participate in workshops, onboarding, hypercare, and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate effectively with procurement, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth process execution. Required Skills & Experience: At least one solid end-to-end experience in SAP Ariba Downstream (mandatory). Hands-on expertise in Guided Buying; certification is a strong advantage. Functional + technical understanding of Ariba configuration and optimisation. Ability to work autonomously, proactively, and under time pressure. Fluent in English and French or Spanish is a big plus. Ideal Background: Experience with Source-to-Pay (S2P) or procurement transformation projects. Comfortable challenging existing processes and proposing improvements. Capable of working independently while maintaining strong communication with key stakeholders.
