Are you passionate about the digital transformation of healthcare? We're looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our team for a temporary replacement position, focusing on pharmaceutical prescriptions.

In this role, you'll bridge the gap between business needs and digital solutions, gathering insights and shaping requirements to drive innovation. Your contributions will be key in optimizing digital applications, making a strong affinity for IT and technology a valuable asset.

Responsibilities:

Business Analysis (90%)

  • Gather and document business information from meetings, literature, and stakeholder discussions.
  • Analyze and define priorities for the upcoming year.
  • Develop solutions for critical workflows and translate them into future-state ("to-be") models.
  • Validate digital solutions in an agile environment, collaborating with development teams as a Product Owner.
  • Address business helpdesk inquiries to better understand real-world challenges.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and facilitate discussions to identify and prioritize needs.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends by attending relevant seminars and healthcare events.

Communication & Training (10%)

  • Draft clear, compelling communication materials tailored to various audiences.
  • Collaborate with training organizations to develop engaging training sessions for end users.
  • Prepare presentations and educational content to support the adoption of new digital workflows.

Experience & Competences:

Business Analysis Expertise

  • At least 2 years of experience in documenting business processes and analyzing workflows.
  • Ability to create business use cases and structure complex information effectively.
  • Proficiency in business analysis techniques, including process and information flow mapping.
  • Experience in documenting and evaluating existing systems.

Healthcare & Digital Transformation Expertise

  • Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape, including its challenges and opportunities.
  • Preferably a background in healthcare studies, including internships or work experience.
  • Experience with digital processes in healthcare, including e-Health and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Bonus: Experience in both the healthcare and IT sectors (strictly from a business perspective, not as a developer or functional analyst).

General Skills & Mindset

  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking to design and optimize workflows.
  • Ability to empathize with end users and translate their needs into digital solutions.
  • Experience working in goal-driven environments with deadlines and multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA or other data analysis platforms is a plus.

Education:

  • A master's degree is a must.
  • A university education as a healthcare provider (doctor, pharmacist, physiotherapist, dentist, or possibly biomedical sciences with experience in the healthcare sector) is an ideal starting point.

Languages:

  • Dutch (understanding documents and building on them; drafting);
  • Good comprehension and spoken French for external meetings;
  • Good comprehension and spoken English.
