Ready to take full ownership of financial operations for a company building energy infrastructure across multiple European markets, where your control work directly enables project execution and business expansion? Join a growing energy infrastructure company as Financial Controller / Finance Lead in Brussels, where you'll manage multi-entity accounting, project cost oversight, and financial process development in a hands-on, international environment. Key responsibilities as Finance Responsible Manage financial reporting and closing processes (month-end, quarter-end, year-end) for Belgian entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Implement and optimize financial controls, policies, and compliance frameworks. Control capital expenditure across projects, work with project teams to identify financial risks early, reconcile actual costs against budgets, and provide variance explanations to stakeholders. Handle day-to-day accounting operations including AP/AR, general ledger management, balance sheet control, and reconciliations. Prepare statutory financial reporting for operating entities and SPVs. Manage treasury activities, monthly cash flow reporting, group loan administration, interest calculations, VAT returns, and coordinate with finance teams in other European countries on intercompany transactions and transfer pricing. You execute with precision but also identify process improvements. You're comfortable managing complexity across borders. What you bring as Finance Lead / Finance Controller Master's in Finance or Accountancy 5+ years in accounting and controlling roles VAT knowledge You speak French and have at least an intermediate level of Dutch (or vice versa).
