Business Developer Life (Pharmaceutical Market)At Yokogawa, we are dedicated to delivering innovative solutions that support the pharmaceutical industry's needs — from R&D to commercial manufacturing. To drive our growth in the Pharmaceutical Market (NL/BE), we are seeking a Business Developer Life who can strategically develop business opportunities, support local sales, and strengthen customer relationships.
In this role, you will play a critical part in understanding market trends, solving business challenges, and enhancing Yokogawa's recognition in the pharmaceutical sector.
Your Responsibilities- Develop Business Opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector across the Netherlands and Belgium.
- Respond to Customer Requests (RFI/RFP/RFQ) by preparing timely, accurate, and compliant proposals, coordinating internal and external resources as needed.
- Formulate Strategies for medium- and long-term growth, aligning Yokogawa's solutions with current and future pharmaceutical market needs.
- Provide Market Insights by identifying trends and customer feedback, ensuring alignment between sales, product development, and market demands.
- Engage with Stakeholders: Represent Yokogawa at industry events, roadshows, and presentations to C-level executives to boost brand recognition.
- Customer Relationship Management: Develop strong partnerships, serve as the escalation point for pharmaceutical matters, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout projects.
- Identify Solutions that meet pharmaceutical quality, compliance standards, and customer needs through client interviews and documentation analysis.
Education:
- Postgraduate degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Additional qualifications in Process Data Analytics or Business Management are a plus.
Experience:
- 10-15 years of industrial experience, including at least 10 years in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Minimum 5 years experience with DCS, MES, QMS, and/or LIMS systems.
- Experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory environment is advantageous.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical business drivers in Europe.
- Ability to develop KPIs for various stakeholders.
- Excellent commercial acumen and presentation skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
