System engineer

We are looking for a System Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and integration of advanced systems used in both civilian and military environments. Key Responsibilities: - Understand and analyze client needs to propose tailored technical solutions; - Contribute to the system architecture definition and ensure it meets customer requirements; - Lead the system specification process and support technical discussions with clients; - Draft technical specifications and provide input for selecting subcontractors for subsystem components; - Manage the creation of key technical documentation, including design and configuration documents, user manuals, and test plans; - Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to define key milestones in the integration, verification, validation, and qualification (IVVQ) process; - Configure and prepare equipment for Proof of Concept (PoC) demonstrations; - Offer expert guidance in your domain and assist clients in resolving complex technical challenges; - Ensure consistency and alignment of system components (hardware and software) with design specifications and requirements; - Assemble system components to evaluate overall performance, interactions, and functionality. Qualification: - Master's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field)- At least 3/5 years of professional experience - Experience with full development lifecycle processes, including requirements gathering, design, development, and integration; - Strong expertise in end-to-end system design, third-party integration, and prototyping of electronic/IT systems; - Knowledge of cloud technologies (Containers, Orchestrators, and Hypervisors...)- Experience with tools like DOORS, Polarion, Capella, Enterprise Architect... - Familiarity with CI/CD processes is a plus - Familiarity with UX/UI design tools is a plus - Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for staying updated on new technologies; - Ability to work independently and proactively while being an effective team player; - Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English (B2 or higher) and French; - EU member citizenship is required, and security clearance will be requested after hiring.
