We're hiring a Chief Operating Officer (COO)to build the operating backbone of JaimyJaimy, a corporate venture within the Belfius group, is an operational housing services platform. We connect homeowners with trusted local professionals for home maintenance, repairs, renovations, and energy transition services.With 50,000+ interventions per year, 400 vetted professionals, and a €40m+ GMV, Jaimy has grown fast.Now we're entering the next phase: scalable maturity.To support this transition, we are strengthening our leadership team with a Chief Operating Officer (COO).Why this role mattersThis is not a classic Head of Operations role, nor a pure CFO position.As COO, you are:fully accountable for day-to-day operations and financial disciplinethe CEO's primary sparring partnerthe anchor for stability, governance, and scalabilityWhile the CEO focuses on strategy, positioning within the Belfius Group and partnerships, you ensure the organisation runs smoothly, predictably, and profitably.Your impactYou will:design and run a scalable operating model capable of handling 50,000+ jobs per yearown financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flowAlign product, technology, and operations around business valuebuild process-driven teams with clear ownership and accountabilitybring focus, structure, and data-driven decision-making at the leadership levelYou are also the strategic counterbalance: translating ambition into execution — and saying no when sustainability requires it.Who we're looking forExperience in a scale-up, platform, or complex service organisationProven operational + financial end responsibilityComfortable working with boards, shareholders, or executive committeesStructured, analytical, calm — allergic to chaosNatural authority, no ego, strong CEO sparring partnerWhat this role is notNot a pure CFO roleNot an operational firefighterNot an extension of the CEOThis is an equal partner role in the leadership team.Why join JaimyYou will help define:How scalable Jaimy becomesHow reliable we are perceived within BelfiusHow our leadership team maturesThis is a role for someone who brings order, builds trust, and enables sustainable growth.
