Role: Fractional Chief Information Officer At Humiint, we understand that robust technological infrastructure and strategic IT leadership are critical for modern businesses to thrive and innovate. As companies scale, they often need the expertise of a seasoned IT executive to guide their digital transformation, enhance cybersecurity, and optimize their technology stack — without always needing a full-time, in-house CIO. We’re looking to connect with experienced Fractional Chief Information Officers (CIOs) who can provide strategic IT leadership across various organizations. This role is ideal for technology leaders who excel at aligning IT initiatives with business goals, implementing scalable systems, and ensuring the security and efficiency of information assets. This opportunity is perfect for technology-focused leaders who have built resilient IT environments, spearheaded digital initiatives, and operated in dynamic, cross-functional settings. Whether you’ve been a CIO, CTO, VP of IT, or an IT consultant with executive ownership, this role offers the flexibility to apply your expertise across multiple high-impact companies. Key responsibilities may include: Defining and executing an integrated IT strategy aligned with overall business objectives Leading digital transformation initiatives and technology adoption Overseeing cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and compliance Managing IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, and enterprise systems Optimizing IT operations, budgeting, and vendor relationships Providing executive oversight for technology projects and implementations Mentoring internal IT teams and fostering a culture of technological innovation Advising on data governance, business intelligence, and analytics strategies Acting as an executive thought partner to founders or CEOs on all things technology and digital Evaluating and implementing new technologies to improve efficiency and competitiveness Key requirements may include: Proven experience in IT leadership, architecture, or executive consulting roles Track record of successfully managing complex IT environments and driving technological change Deep understanding of enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity best practices Strong strategic planning skills and business acumen Data-driven mindset with experience using technology metrics to guide decisions Excellent communicator, comfortable working with C-suite and boards Prior experience as a fractional, interim, or consulting executive is a strong plus Additional Information Set your own pricing 100% Remote (with optional on-site if desired) Flexible schedule and client engagements Collaborate across industries and verticals At Humiint, we work with technology leaders who don’t just manage IT — they build resilient, future-ready digital foundations.
