About the job
What you'll be doing
- Design and implement machine learning models to solve complex business problems
- Develop data pipelines and workflows for large-scale data processing
- Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns and insights
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business challenges and define data science objectives
- Create and maintain predictive models, optimization algorithms, and statistical analyses
- Communicate findings and recommendations through compelling visualizations and reports
- Stay current with advancements in machine learning and data science methodologies
- Test, validate, and fine-tune models for accuracy and scalability
- Work closely with data engineers to ensure data integrity and availability
- Contribute to the development of the company's data strategy and best practices
Skills & qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a data science or related role
- Proficiency in Python or R, with a strong understanding of data manipulation libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy)
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with large datasets
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and probability
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- A proactive and innovative mindset with attention to detail
- Fluent in French or Dutch with good command of English
- A passion for turning data into actionable insights
