Context For a major player in the life insurance sector, we are looking for a Life Insurance Business Analyst to strengthen its Transformation team. The assignment supports strategic initiatives such as: Life insurance portfolio migration Regulatory change implementation Commercial and product developments Mission Objective To analyse regulatory and business changes impacting life insurance activities, assess their impact on processes, systems, and calculations , define and formalize business requirements, and support implementation through testing and monitoring activities. Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Requirements Analyse new laws and regulatory changes impacting life insurance activities. Identify impacts on products, processes, and IT systems. Define and document business requirements in line with established quality standards. Ensure a shared understanding of requirements between Business and IT stakeholders. Testing Prepare and execute process and calculation tests. Validate solutions against defined business and regulatory requirements. Monitoring & Coordination Act as an intermediary between Business, IT, Operations, Distribution, and other stakeholders. Monitor progress of assigned activities and provide regular status reporting. Contribute to effective collaboration and build trustful relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Profile Experience & Skills Strong knowledge of life insurance products and processes (mandatory). Proven experience as a Business Analyst , preferably in regulated environments. Minimum 5 years of experience in the life insurance sector. Familiarity with at least one standard business or process analysis methodology . Experience working on regulatory-driven projects is a strong asset. University degree in Mathematics, Business Analysis, Data Analysis or equivalent experience. Languages Fluent in English . Knowledge of French and/or Dutch is required. Personal Qualities Strong commitment to quality and deadlines; hands-on and solution-oriented mindset. Autonomous, proactive, and able to gather required information independently. Structured, well-organized, and pragmatic with strong prioritization skills. Detail-oriented while able to maintain the appropriate level of abstraction. Strong communication skills, capable of interacting with actuaries, IT specialists, and management.
