What you can expectAs Purchasing Coordinator within the procurement department responsible for purchasing in Belgium, the Netherlands and France, you will play a key role in supporting different Business Units. You will have contacts with our Business Partners of Daimler Truck, Buses and Financial Services entities across the BeNeFra region; as well as with the different suppliers of those Business Units.You willManage all operational purchasing processes for specific commodity groups, from tendering to contract conclusion with suppliers Negotiate with suppliers regarding pricing and contractual terms Use appropriate tools to validate pricing and determine the optimal price level Optimize the supplier structure, establish new national and international partners, and maintain relationships with existing suppliers Work in interdisciplinary teams with business partner departments and the legal team, providing proactive advice, e.g., on defining bidder lists or preparing RfQ documents Identify procurement potential (e.g., through volume bundling) and realize these together with the relevant departments, making a significant contribution to company performance Ensure compliance, integrity and antitrust law across all entities in scope Manage internal audit procedures Ensure reporting of key indicators Support your team and colleagues That is why you are a matchYou bring with you:-A Bachelor or Master in Economics, Finance, Business Management or Equivalent field -At least 2 years' experience in Procurement -Trilingual: English, French & Dutch -Knowledge of MS Office Tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, Knowledge of SAP is a plus -Problem-solving mindset, team spirit, integrity -Negotiation skills & assertivity Don't tick every box?
