Senior Accountant

Our client is a well-established international services group operating across multiple European countries situated in Zaventem. The organisation supports a broad portfolio of corporate and industrial clients and is currently strengthening its local finance structure as part of an ongoing transformation and growth strategy. To support this evolution, the group is creating a new Senior Accountant position to reinforce its local accounting expertise. As Senior Accountant, you will take ownership of the local accounting activities and act as a key financial contact within the organisation. You will operate in a dynamic and structured environment, interacting closely with both local stakeholders and international finance teams. Key Responsibilities Manage the full accounting cycle from A to Z in compliance with local regulations Ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data and reporting Supervise accounting flows and coordinate with external partners when required Prepare statutory accounts and contribute to group reporting Collaborate with operational and administrative teams to collect and validate financial information Support finance transformation initiatives and process improvements Participate in finance-related projects, including system and process evolutions Degree in Accounting Several years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in a complex or multi-entity environment Strong knowledge of local accounting standards; exposure to international reporting is an asset Comfortable working independently while coordinating with international teams Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail Proactive, curious and solution-oriented mindset Languages & Systems Fluent in either French or Dutch Professional working proficiency in English is required Experience with ERP systems is expected; exposure to system implementations is a plus Permanent contract within a stable yet evolving international group Competitive salary package aligned with experience and expertise Attractive extra-legal benefits package (possibility of company car, net allowance, insurances, bonus etc) Flexible working hours and hybrid working possibilities Opportunity to play a key role in the development of local finance operations Exposure to international projects and long-term career development Statutory Accounts, Coordination, System Process, Attention to detail, Proactivity, Financial Data, Exposure, Reporting, Data reporting, Administration, Taking Ownership, Asset, Solution Oriented, Stakeholders, Group Reporting, Projects, Regulation, Process Development, Accounting
