Job title: Linux Application AdministratorLocation: Brussels, BelgiumLangauges:English, Dutch or FrenchContract Duration:ASAP-12 Months+ Possible of extension Job Description:Our client is seeking an experienced Linux Application Administrator / Linux Specialist to join their IT operations team. The ideal candidate will be an all-round IT professional with strong hands-on expertise in Linux system administration and automation using Ansible. The role requires both strong technical capabilities and excellent soft skills to fit into a collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities:Administer, maintain, and support Linux-based systems in a production environmentManage and maintain automation workflows using AnsiblePerform system patching, upgrades, and security updatesMonitor system performance and availability using ZabbixTroubleshoot Linux system, application, and performance issuesExecute RAK mounting / rack & stack activities when requiredEnsure system stability, availability, and compliance with internal standardsDocument configurations, procedures, and operational changesCollaborate with internal IT teams and stakeholdersProvide operational support and participate in incident/problem managementRequired Skills & Experience:Strong experience as a Linux Administrator / Linux SpecialistHands-on experience with Ansible automationExperience with Zabbix monitoring toolsSolid knowledge of Linux patching, system maintenance, and upgradesExperience with RAK mounting (rack & stack / hardware setup)General IT infrastructure knowledge (servers, OS, basic networking)Ability to work independently and as part of a team
