The role involves working across relational and NoSQL technologies, improving performance, ensuring security, and supporting project teams with technical expertise.Key ResponsibilitiesData analysis and data modellingDatabase design, implementation, and architectureReverse engineering and enhancement of existing databasesDevelopment, maintenance, and integration of database componentsIntegration with external databases and systemsEstablishment of best practices and naming conventionsCreation of technical documentationSupport with deployment and configurationTroubleshooting and performance optimizationDelivery of technical evaluations and audit reportsConducting risk analysisParticipation in technical and project meetingsRequired Expertise and Technologies3+ years in data modelling and database design (e.g., SQL Developer Data Modeler, Hackolade, NoSQL Workbench)5+ years with relational databases (preferably Oracle)1+ year with NoSQL databases (Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra)5+ years with SQL and PL/SQL1+ year in database security (encryption, access controls, GDPR/HIPAA)3+ years in database architecture3+ years in performance tuning3+ years in backup and recovery3+ years in data visualization and analytics1+ year in cloud database management (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL)1+ year in scripting (PowerShell, Bash)1+ year understanding OS-level configurations (Linux, Windows)3+ years in disaster recovery planning1+ year experience with Agile methodology1+ year experience with Confluence and JiraNon-Technical SkillsAbility to write clear technical and non-technical documentationStrong communication with both business and technical audiencesAbility to deliver technical presentationsHigh quality standards and attention to detailAdaptability to evolving database technologiesStrong communication in multilingual meetingsAbility to work in international, multicultural teamsStrong teamwork, self-starting attitude, and collaboration skillsFluency in English; French is an advantage
