Nuclear medicine has evolved considerably over recent years with the emergence of radiotheranostics, a modality which combines targeted diagnosis and therapy with radioisotopes. It offers an important and promising alternative in the treatment of many cancers.
Radiotheranostics is based on the use of radioisotopes which, when they decay, emit radiation that enables cancer cells to be precisely located and/or destroyed. Among these radioisotopes, one of the most promising therapeutic is the alpha-emitting Actinium-225.
One of the main challenges to making this therapeutic solution accessible for the greatest number of patients is ensuring the availability of high-quality Actinium-225 in large quantities. It is often referred within the community as "the rarest drug on Earth".
By joining their unique expertise and resources, SCK CEN and IBA have launched the company PanTera, which aims at enabling he production of large-scale quantities of Actinium-225. In this context, PanTera is looking for a talented and experienced Project and Maintenance Manager HVAC & Electrical to support the design and construction of the Actinium-225 factory, and after commissioning and validation, ensure a smooth transition to facility exploitation.
ResponsibilitiesProjectBe the technical point of contact for building utilities for the PanTera team and building third parties (design team and contractors)Translate the technical requirements into specifications for the building and its technical installationsFollow up of HVAC & electrical contractors and reply all technical questionsOrganize and manage the building commissioning related to the HVAC & electrical installationsEnsure technical interfaces between building and subsystems and inter-subsystems are well defined and coordinatedEnsure site engineering documents are delivered on timeReview and approve all technical data sheets/execution drawings/calculations, etc. issued by the contractor and subcontractors related to HVAC & electrical installations and GMP roomsBeing the back-up for the building project managerMaintenance & reliabilityAssess and formulate the maintenance needs of building HVAC & electrical installationsDeveloping strategies to prevent failures and minimize building HVAC & electrical installations downtimeReview and organize as-built documentationSupport implementation of CMMSProfileA Master's Degree in industrial or civil engineering in construction or electro-mechanics or equivalent experienceExcellent presentation and design skills: proficient in Microsoft Office. ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud) software and Autodesk design software knowledge is an asset.
Technical and construction oriented, experienced in complex industrial building follow-up and specific building techniques (HVAC, clean rooms).
Experience
