ERP Project Manager

The ERP Project Manager, who is part of the ERP Global Project Leadership team will focus on global ERP Deployment projects. The ERP Project Manager will work closely with Business Process Owners, Business Analysts, development team and IT Management to ensure projects progress along agreed timelines and meets the key success criteria. ERP platforms in scope include Microsoft Dynamic Business Central, Oracle JD Edwards and SAP. This role reports directly to the Director, IT EU with a dotted line to Director, Global ERP, and is based hybrid out of our Antwerp office location.WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?• Competitive compensation/pay package• Be part of a long standing and stable industry leaderWHEN YOU JOIN US YOU WILL BE• Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines. Create work breakdown structures (WBS) and allocate resources accordingly. Identify and manage project risks• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, providing guidance, direction, and support throughout the project lifecycle. Foster a collaborative team environment conducive to creativity and innovation• Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment of project objectives with organizational goals. Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular project updates• Resource Management: Allocate resources efficiently, including personnel, budget, and materials. Monitor resource utilization and make adjustments as needed to optimize project performance• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies. Proactively address issues that may impact project scope, schedule, or budget. Implement contingency plans as necessary• Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to project specifications. Conduct regular quality reviews and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain project quality• Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and expenditures, tracking costs and variances throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure projects are delivered within budget constraints and justify any deviations• Communication: Facilitate clear and timely communication among project team members, stakeholders, and other relevant parties. Prepare project status reports, presentations, and documentation as required• Change Management: Manage changes to project scope, schedule, or resources, assessing the impact on project objectives and stakeholders. Implement change control processes to document and track changes effectively• Closure and Evaluation: Lead project closure activities, including formal acceptance of deliverables, handover to operational teams, and post-project evaluation. Capture lessons learned and best practices for future projectsOUR IDEAL CANDIDATE• Minimum 7 Year relevant Project Management experience• Minimum 7 years experience with (ERP) software (preferably MS Dynamics or Oracle)• Experienced in ERP deployment and rollout methodologies• Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering) required; Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred• Proven experience as a Project Manager, managing complex projects from initiation to completion• Proficient in Dutch and/or French is a major plus• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders• Broad cross-industry experience and domain expertise – industrial manufacturing sector, intercompany, third-party distribution and branch retail operations experience an asset• Solid understanding of enterprise applications including ERP, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Distribution & Retail, Warehouse Management, CRM, Enterprise Content Management, Financial/Corporate Performance Management, BI & Analytics, EDI and E-commerce• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, ServiceNow, PPM Pro) • Solid understanding of project management methodologies and best practices• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities• Excellent communication and presentations skills.
