ABOUT THE JOB - Freelance Network Engineer – BrusselsWe’re looking for a Freelance Network Engineer to support and improve our enterprise network environment in Brussels. This role is suited for an experienced contractor who’s comfortable working autonomously in a professional, structured environment.ResponsibilitiesOperate and support LAN, WAN, WLAN, and data centre networksConfigure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNsMonitor network performance and troubleshoot incidentsSupport network upgrades, changes, and improvement projectsWork with system, cloud, and security teams when neededSkills & Experience3+ years’ experience as a Network Engineer or similar roleStrong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs)Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Fortinet, or similar vendorsSolid understanding of network security fundamentalsNice to haveCloud networking experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)Automation or scripting (Python, Ansible)Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA)Additional DetailsStart Date: ASAPContract: Freelance/contract roleOnsite Policy: On-site / hybrid in BrusselsDuration: Long-termRate: Dependant on experience (€550 - €700/day) Hours Per Week: Full time.Languages: EnglishInterview Process: One StageIf you are interested or know anyone who could be a good fit please send your CV to joe.cain@kodastaff.com or by phone at +32 2 586 20 12
