We are currently expanding our presence in Flanders to cover the region within the Industry practice as well within other related practices. We are seeking an experienced business-oriented professional who will take an active part in the business development of our Page Executive brand in Belgium with offices in Gent and Antwerp.

Job Description

  • Responsible for executive search projects and acquisition of new clients in the Industry practice.
  • Lead and manage the holistic executive search project from acquisition, selection process, interviews with executives, and negotiation with the help of a research team.
  • Originate and develop new clients in Belgium.
  • Leverage internal channels: existing PSA's with Michael Page, global clients of Page Group, dedicated conferences, economic development, and investors with the support of internal business intelligence tools.
  • Build a network with executives in Belgium among Director, C-level, Board Members, and Human Resources.
  • Identify new business opportunities and win new exclusive search mandates with tenders (provide presentations, negotiate contracts, and advise on market developments, new trends, and salary surveys).
  • Offer clients tailored search solutions and develop long-term relationships.
  • Drive global business initiatives and actively participate in the development of our European practice and meetings with other experts within Page Group.
  • Support the further development of Page Group and Page Executive in accordance with the Group strategy and cross-selling initiatives.
  • Represent the company and the brand at conferences, networking events, and associations.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of 15 years of local executive search experience.
  • University degree or equivalent education would be an advantage.
  • Experience in the Industry sector and with clients closely related.
  • Strong track record in business development, sales, and commercial approach, with the ability to be a business partner for local and global decision makers (including but not limited to C-level professionals, regional function heads, management, supervisory boards, and Human Resources).
  • Proven track record in delivering revenue targets with strong commercial acumen.
  • Experienced in managing multiple and complex search projects in a fast-paced environment simultaneously.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, hands-on business approach with resilience and a hard-working personality.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills with an exceptional customer service attitude.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Fluency in English and Dutch; French would be an advantage.
