Quality Assurance Specialist

Are you an experienced freelance QA professional who can step into a regulated manufacturing environment and add immediate value? This contract opportunity is focused on supporting day-to-day Quality Assurance operations within a production setting, working closely with Manufacturing, Quality Control, and Supplier interfaces. The assignment offers hands-on involvement across core QA activities such as batch record review, raw material release, supplier quality, and documentation management. It is well suited for independent consultants who are comfortable operating in GMP/GDP environments and supporting operational quality systems. Must Have Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline Minimum of 3 years documented work experience in Quality Assurance Work experience in a manufacturing environment Hands-on experience with batch record review Hands-on experience managing deviations Hands-on experience with CAPA Hands-on experience with release of incoming raw materials Experience performing supplier quality or supplier management activities Experience working in a GMP or GDP-regulated environment Desirable Requirements: Contract or project-based experience in QA roles Work experience within the pharmaceutical industry Work experience within the radioisotopes industry Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems Familiarity with FDA regulatory requirements Experience managing or maintaining quality documentation archives Responsibilities: Perform batch record review, including deviation and CAPA assessment Release incoming raw materials in accordance with GMP/GDP procedures Support supplier quality management activities Maintain and manage QA documentation and quality record archives Support continuous improvement initiatives, including changes and training Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality Control during daily QA operations What the Assignment Offers: Hands-on freelance QA assignment in a regulated manufacturing environment Initial contract of 6–12 months with realistic extension potential On-site role with clear operational scope Exposure to core QA processes within production-driven environments Opportunity for follow-on assignments based on performance Interested in learning more or discussing this opportunity confidentially?
