Operations Director

The Operations Director has the objective of managing the operational process by leading and strategically directing all operational aspects of projects to ensure successful and seamless execution, mainly in cooperation with the operational team. This by managing the teams responsible for the operational planning, execution and evaluation of projects, pursuing the highest standards of efficiency and customer satisfaction for all projects.Contribute to a constructive and problem-solving attitude in the management teamMain Tasks - ResponsibilitiesLeadership● Coach, Motivate and inspire the team leads to become effective leaders● Support the delegation of tasks by the team leads based on the strengths and skills of individual team members● Provide support, coaching, and guidance to promote the professional development of the operations teams .● Evaluate the performance of teams and team leads and provide constructive feedback● Listen to the needs and concerns of the teams and communicate goals and expectations clearly.● Communicating customer expectations based on input from the commercial director.Monitoring internal workflow from A to Z● Adapting leadership style towards team members● Coach the teamleads to become effective leadersQuality Control● Maintain a high-level overview of the progress of various ongoing projects.● Approve budgets in collaboration with project managers to ensure accurate financial alignment. The operations director has final approval on all the project budgets and closings.● Ensure consistency and quality across projects in various aspects such as rates, team selection processes, and post-event handling timelines.● Conduct periodic check-ins with team members for feedback and project updates.● Maintain regular communication with the commercial team to report both positive and negative aspects, as well as any client requests, and ensure appropriate actions are taken by team members. Cultivate a synergy between the commercial team and the operations team.● Attend events as required to stay informed and engaged.● Liaising with other departments to ensure cohesion across the tasks.● Coach and support team members by adapting your approach to each individual, ensuring messages are clearly understood and actions are effectively implemented.
