As an Asset Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the organization's physical assets to ensure they are tracked, maintained, and optimized for use. You will work closely with various departments to ensure accurate inventory management, monitor asset lifecycles, and help ensure the effective utilization of resources. This role plays a crucial part in supporting operational efficiency and cost management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of all company assets, including acquisition, usage, maintenance, and disposal.
  • Coordinate asset tracking through asset management systems and ensure regular audits are conducted.
  • Work with various departments to ensure all assets are deployed, serviced, and maintained in accordance with company policies.
  • Monitor the condition of assets and work with the relevant teams to schedule maintenance or replacements as needed.
  • Assist with the procurement process by providing asset requirements and supporting the purchase of new assets.
  • Handle the asset return process for items no longer needed or due for disposal.
  • Manage asset-related documentation, including warranty and maintenance records, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Support budget and cost tracking related to asset management and report on any discrepancies or issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize asset utilization and prevent unnecessary downtime.
  • Assist in the development of processes and policies to improve asset management efficiency.
Requirements
  • Minimum of MBO+ level of education or equivalent.
  • Experience in asset management, inventory control, or a similar administrative role.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in asset management software or similar inventory tracking tools.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to address issues related to asset maintenance or lifecycle.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Basic understanding of budget and cost management is a plus.
