Company Description

As a GRC Officer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing GRC processes within the organization. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, such as NIS2 and GDPR.


Responsibilities

  1. Governance: Develop and maintain an effective GRC framework and align risk management strategies with business objectives.
  2. Risk Analysis: Identify, assess, and manage IT and information security risks, and report to stakeholders.
  3. Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations and implement control mechanisms.
  4. ISMS Management: Support the development and maintenance of an Information Security Management System (ISMS) in accordance with ISO 27001.
  5. Stakeholder Management: Act as a GRC expert and effectively communicate with different teams and management.
  6. Project Management: Lead and support GRC-related projects and implementations.

Qualifications

  1. Master’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Law, or equivalent through experience.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in Governance, Risk & Compliance, preferably in a complex environment.
  3. Certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer are a plus.
  4. Strong knowledge of ISO 27001-27005, NIS2, GDPR, and risk management frameworks.
  5. Strong analytical skills and experience in risk assessment and compliance.
  6. Excellent communication and project management skills.
  7. Language proficiency: Dutch (C2) or French (C2) and English (C1).

Additional Information

Hybrid work model: at least 2 days per week in the Brussels office.
