For a young and disruptive business law firm based in Brussels, I am looking for several experienced Lawyers/Partners. Fluent in French and/or Dutch with good knowledge of English. Company The firm is an innovative business law firm with a strong international outlook, offering a radically different, alternative approach to both its clients and its lawyers. It was created by a generation of accomplished lawyers with a vision for a more efficient law firm, bringing a human and fair approach back to law. Its lawyers are given the resources and benefits of a traditional law firm, while maintaining the full freedom to structure their practice themselves in order to meet and surpass client expectations, with an absolute minimum of management interference or pressure. Using enhanced technological solutions, its lawyers are not confined to their geographical location, and this distributed model gives them the freedom to work where it suits them and structure their services in a way that maximizes the value they can provide to clients. Headquartered in Brussels, the firm attracts a broad range of international clients looking to capitalise on the experience that its lawyers have gathered practicing law all around Europe. The current team is 18 people strong and growing, and offers a full service to business clients. Function You manage your activity with complete autonomy, supported by the full strength of the firm You practice where you want, when you want and how you want You work and think independently and proactively, with the possibility of calling on colleagues You are capable of working out creative solutions to complex legal issues You manage client relationships Profile You have at least 5 years’ experience in a leading law firm You are a highly skilled lawyer delivering top quality work You preferably have a valuable portable business or the potential to develop one You are a true entrepreneur, pragmatic and client-oriented, with a commercial mindset You like to be treated as an adult, without excessive interference or supervision You are fluent in French and/or Dutch and have a good knowledge of English Offer A fully revenue-based remuneration The possibility to advise clients under the most effective conditions (seventy-five to ninety percent of what is billed goes to the lawyers) The freedom to set your own rates, which enables you to offer your services at highly competitive terms and allows each lawyer to bill clients as deemed appropriate Incentives to refer work to each other, creating an abundance of growth opportunities for all The freedom to manage your activities independently, backed by the strength of a full-service international firm The freedom to define and develop your professional and personal goals No hierarchies or fancy titles.
