Within Krones FBL, around 160 employees currently support Krones' activities in France, Belgium and Luxembourg.To strengthen the team of Field Service Technicians in Belgium, Krones FBL is currently looking for (m/f/x):FIELD SERVICE MECHANICS – INDUSTRIAL BLOW MOULDING OR WASHING MACHINES Region Flanders – assignments throughout Belgium, France and neighboring countriesYour role:As a Field Service Mechanic specialised in industrial blow moulding or washing machines, you are responsible for the commissioning, repair and maintenance of Krones machines at customer sites. Blow moulding and washing machines are robust, large-scale and technologically advanced. They require strong technical expertise and insight, as well as the ability to collaborate with operators and fellow technicians on the shop floor.Through an intensive training programme in Belgium (on-the-job) and in Germany (Krones Academy), you will gain in-depth knowledge of our machine park and the different types of installations. You will be part of a team responsible for corrective and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and modifications to machines on production lines in the agro-food industry, in Belgium and neighbouring countries.You independently carry out mechanical interventions, ranging from replacing parts to machine adjustments and troubleshooting. Where required, you coordinate the support of operators or fellow technicians on larger installations. You carefully document your interventions and provide technical recommendations or short training sessions to customers on the use of the installations.As a Field Service Technician, you are on the road on a daily basis, and you will regularly be involved in projects in the French-speaking part of the country or abroad.You act as an ambassador of Krones, standing out through your technical expertise, professional attitude and solution-oriented mindset.Your profile:You hold a secondary education diploma or a professional bachelor's degree in mechanics, electromechanics or a comparable field.You have experience with heavy mechanics in an industrial environment (e.g. machine construction, large-scale installations) and a solid basic knowledge of electricity.You are fluent in Dutch and have a good command of English (both are mandatory). You can get by in French; knowledge of German is a plus.You have all necessary documents to legally work in Belgium.You are technically curious and enjoy gaining in-depth knowledge of complex production lines and machines.You are stress-resistant, work in a structured manner and think along with the customer.You are able to work independently, but also know how to lead or coordinate a team on larger installations.You are flexible and willing to travel daily to customer sites. Regular overnight stays and international assignments are part of the role.Last but not least... you are truly passionate about technology and want to turn that passion into your profession.You're open to work on different sites and don't have any problems with staying over nights during the week (and sometimes even weekends) and/or driving a lot.
