Senior Database Administrator (Freelance) Location: Brussels / Hybrid Contract Type: Freelance Languages: Fluent : Dutch and or French English: Good Command Start Date: 05/01/2026 About the Opportunity Domani Group is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to strengthen the IT Production & Infrastructure services of one of our key clients. As part of the TechOps team, you will ensure stability, performance, and continuity of critical database environments across multiple technologies. Mission Context As a Senior DBA Administrator, you will join the TechOps team and take ownership of maintaining and optimizing enterprise databases. You will contribute to troubleshooting, performance analysis, and ensuring operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Database Administration Maintain and administer MS SQL, Oracle, and related database systems Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues Perform database performance tuning and optimization Conduct daily operational checks, including PRTG/Splunk alerts and backup monitoring Required Experience & Knowledge Education: Bachelor in IT or equivalent experience Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Database Administrator Technical Skills (Mandatory) Windows Server 2019 / 2022 RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) Oracle MS SQL Server Technical Skills (Preferred) MariaDB PostgreSQL Cassandra Soft Skills Team player with strong collaboration mindset Quick self-starter with proactive attitude Excellent communication skills Strong analytical and synthesis ability Autonomy and strong sense of commitment Logical reasoning and troubleshooting capabilities Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment Work Arrangement Hybrid model: 50% on-site, 50% remote Why Join At Domani Group, we believe that robust and forward‐thinking database engineering is essential for modern digital ecosystems.
