We are looking for a Senior Windows System Administrator to strengthen an infrastructure operations team within our client environment. The consultant will ensure stable, secure and well-maintained server and desktop services, taking responsibility for advanced incident handling, system maintenance and operational continuity. Project information: Duration: 6 months to begin with + potential extension Working style: Hybrid Work location: Brussels Responsibilities: Manage and resolve 2nd- and 3rd-line incidents related to Windows server and infrastructure components. Execute small implementation requests linked to the offered services. Maintain Windows Server environments, including patching, monitoring and optimisation. Support application server releases and updates. Maintain Citrix environments (XenDesktop / Remote Desktop Session Hosts). Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise infrastructure services and related components. Contribute to operational readiness and documentation within an IT operations environment. Requirements: Must-have technical skills: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policies. Minimum 5 years of experience with Windows Server (2012 or higher). Minimum 5 years of experience with Windows Infrastructure Services (DHCP, DNS, PXE) and Windows Firewall technologies. Minimum 2 years of experience with Microsoft 365 technologies (Exchange Online, Teams, Authentication). General skills: Minimum 5 years of experience as a System Administrator (setup, maintenance, operations). Experience with one or more enterprise-level systems such as Unix/Linux/Windows, middleware, security infrastructure, networking, etc. Familiarity with ITIL processes, especially change management. Native-level Dutch (CEFR C2).
