We are looking for a French speaking lawyer with 3 to 6 years of experience to join our Tax practice The Tax team Liedekerke’s Tax practice is a dynamic and ambitious team offering a full range of tax services across industries. We advise clients on domestic and international tax structuring, mergers and acquisitions, reorganisations, finance transactions, and real estate taxation. Our team also assists Belgian and international clients in audits, investigations, and litigation before all levels of Belgian and European courts. In addition, we advise high-net-worth individuals and families on estate and inheritance planning. With tax law constantly evolving, we act as a trusted partner guiding clients through complex and changing tax landscapes. Our Tax team consists of 5 lawyers and 1 Personal Assistant, and we are looking to expand the team with an Associate with 3 to 6 years of experience . Your role As an associate in our Tax practice, you will be involved in advisory work, and you will: Advise Belgian and international clients on tax issues Specialise in domestic and cross-border transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, joint ventures, capital markets, finance, private equity, funds, real estate, and incentive plans But you will also be involved in: Assisting clients in resolving tax disputes and investigations Handling audits, dawn raids, and settlements Representing clients in administrative controversies and tax litigation before Belgian and European courts What we offer At Liedekerke, we invest in your long-term growth and offer: highly interesting, challenging and diversified tax matters a multilingual, open and stimulating work environment an atmosphere where teamwork prevails direct client contact from day one a structured learning path with tailored legal and non-legal training (e.g. business, financial literacy, languages, communication) active support for your continued legal education and professional development. an attractive compensation and benefits package a strong team spirit with a culture built on excellence, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing the chance to contribute to the growth and strategic development of our practice What we expect We are looking for a bright associate who is fluent in French, English and proficient in Dutch has 3 to 6 years of experience in tax law has an interest in real estate taxation is a plus has excellent results at a Belgian university, an additional education in tax law, a study or experience in an Anglo‑Saxon jurisdiction is considered a plus analytical, articulate, and detail-oriented client-focused, practical, and eager to learn organised, motivated, and committed to excellence Practical Information Location: Brussels Start date: As soon as possible Ready to apply?
