🔎 Functional Analyst – Atlassian Specialist (Jira & Confluence) 📍 Location: Bruges (on-site 3 days/week) 📅 Start date: to be agreed 🕐 Contract: Full-time, 6 months assignement 🌍 Languages: Dutch + English fluentFor one of our clients based in Bruges, we are looking for a Functional Analyst with strong expertise and affinity for the Atlassian suite (Jira & Confluence).In this role, you will support multiple development teams in optimizing their tools and processes, acting as the key link between business stakeholders, technical teams, and an external Atlassian implementation partner.🎯 Your missionYou will help define and implement the optimal configuration of Jira and Confluence to meet the needs of development teams.Identify and analyze team requirementsDefine functional needs and system configurationsAct as the main point of contact for the external Atlassian partnerOversee validation and testing after deliveryEnsure solutions meet business expectations🛠️ Key responsibilitiesAnalyze processes and needs across different development teamsPrepare functional requirements for Jira & ConfluenceAdvise on: Project structures, Workflows, Roles & permissions, Confluence spaces and templatesCoordinate with the Atlassian implementation partnerMonitor, test, and validate configurationsAct as a bridge between business, development, and external partners✅ Required profileMinimum 3–4 years of experience as a Functional AnalystHands-on experience with Jira & Confluence (usage, structure, workflows, reporting)Experience gathering requirements in a software/development environmentAbility to translate business needs into clear functional requirementsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsStructured, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset⭐ Nice to haveExperience working with multiple development teams or Agile/Scrum environmentsExperience collaborating with external implementation partnersKnowledge of Jira Service Management / ITSM is a plus
