🔎 Functional Analyst – Atlassian Specialist (Jira & Confluence) 📍 Location: Bruges (on-site 3 days/week) 📅 Start date: to be agreed 🕐 Contract: Full-time, 6 months assignement 🌍 Languages: Dutch + English fluent For one of our clients based in Bruges, we are looking for a Functional Analyst with strong expertise and affinity for the Atlassian suite (Jira & Confluence) . In this role, you will support multiple development teams in optimizing their tools and processes, acting as the key link between business stakeholders, technical teams, and an external Atlassian implementation partner. 🎯 Your mission You will help define and implement the optimal configuration of Jira and Confluence to meet the needs of development teams. Identify and analyze team requirements Define functional needs and system configurations Act as the main point of contact for the external Atlassian partner Oversee validation and testing after delivery Ensure solutions meet business expectations 🛠️ Key responsibilities Analyze processes and needs across different development teams Prepare functional requirements for Jira & Confluence Advise on: Project structures, Workflows, Roles & permissions, Confluence spaces and templates Coordinate with the Atlassian implementation partner Monitor, test, and validate configurations Act as a bridge between business, development, and external partners ✅ Required profile Minimum 3–4 years of experience as a Functional Analyst Hands-on experience with Jira & Confluence (usage, structure, workflows, reporting) Experience gathering requirements in a software/development environment Ability to translate business needs into clear functional requirements Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset ⭐ Nice to have Experience working with multiple development teams or Agile/Scrum environments Experience collaborating with external implementation partners Knowledge of Jira Service Management / ITSM is a plus
