ObjectiveThe Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for safeguarding the security of IT components in DPD Belux. In this dynamic and critical role, you'll ensure strict adherence to security policies and drive compliance with cybersecurity regulations. Your efforts directly contribute to minimizing cybersecurity risks and enabling swift acting in the event of security breaches.What will you do in this role?Operational:Investigate security incidents triggered by tools such as EDR, NDR, SIEM, SOAR and PAM.Conduct threat hunting and translating these technical findings/logs into insights and actions through reports and storytelling tailored to the business stakeholders.Responsible for vulnerability management.Continuously propose and implement security improvements to our operational IT systems.Accurate reporting and documentation are essential in this role. You'll produce clear and concise reports on phishing, vulnerability, incidents and investigations.Compliance:Ensure DPD Belux remains compliant with cybersecurity regulations, including timely adherence to NIS2 requirements.Collaborate with various departments to identify cybersecurity and compliancy risks in their processes and workflows.Ensure accurate and up-to-date evidence of compliance.Over time, you'll also support and formulate responses to client audits.Project management:In collaboration with the infra team, you'll be involved in the implementation of new technologies and phase out of legacy systems.Take part in key security projects, such as setting up an external SOC, implementation of new security tools or supporting and follow up of cybersecurity initiatives proposed by Geopost.What do we have to offer you?The opportunity to make a difference in a professional and international environmentAn enthusiastic team where everyone wants to move forwardPermanent contract, start as soon as possible. Please note that we're not looking for a freelancer for this role.Flexible working hours and working from home possibleGroup and hospitalisation insuranceLaptop and smartphone (with subscription)Company car and fuel/charge passMeal vouchers of € 8What do we expect from you?You preferably have 2 years of experience in a similar cybersecurity role OR you have built your career in compliance, and you are ready to pivot into a more technical cybersecurity position.Hands-on experience in EDR, NDR, SIEM, SOAR and PAM tools is essential.A strong interest in compliance, ideally with experience in frameworks such as NIS2, CyFun and/or ISO 27001/27002.You are an analytical problem solver.You are a clear communicator and storyteller, capable of translating technical findings into actions and insights tailored to the stakeholders involved.You are accurate and detail-oriented, with a commitment to precision in your work.You take ownership and thrive in an autonomous work environment.Proficiency in English is an absolute must, combined with professional communication skills in Dutch and French.
