In this context, we are looking for a SAP BPC Consultant to our private sector client base, specifically in Brussels. Job Description We are seeking an SAP BPC Consultant to support our SAP BI product within our client product organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for all technical-related questions. Together with the product and the key users you will identify and implement the best solution to serve your customer. The candidate has several years of practical professional experience in the areas of group consolidation, reporting and accounting. In addition to the technical understanding of SAP BPC for consolidation and planning, the functional and business-related understanding of group consolidation must also be present. User knowledge of the use and implementation of SAP BPC is also required. Experience with other solutions such as Group Reporting is desirable. You will work on the prioritized activities within the product from requirements management, including technical implementation, up to the go live. Active consultancy in requirement management is demanded. The requirements should be critically challenged to ensure that the sustainability and maintainability of the technical solutions are kept in mind alongside customer needs. As part of a product team you will be responsible for the further technical evolution of the consolidation solution which is part of our BI landscape including SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BO. As an SAP BPC developer, you need to take care of the following tasks: Ensuringthe functionality and continuous development of the group consolidation & reporting system Managingstakeholders and consult departments on system-related issues Implementation of SAP BPC requirements for the client Perform SAP BPC system configuration such as business process flow and business rules Write code in Script Logic and ABAP for extended logic implementation Documentation of developments as well as the handover of the development results Requirements analysis and participation in the creation of requirement specifications, test support and transport of developments into the productive systems Authorization management, -analysis and definition of the necessary authorizations as well as coordination with the authorization team Qualifications Expert in SAP BPC Extensive experience in corporate consolidation, controlling andgroup accounting, with a deep understanding of SAP BPC Extensive knowledge of financial consolidation process Good knowledge of financial reporting (such as IFRS) and internal management purposes Good accounting knowledge is desirable Good knowledge of SAP BW/HANA Other requirements : Excellent analytical skills Good technical documentation skills Experience in working with the ticket tool Jira Team player Knowledge in energy context is a strong plus Languages: English and one of the following Dutch/French/German Applications must be submitted by July 16th at the latest. #J-18808-Ljbffr
