As an integrator, it links design offices to on-site construction, while placing People, Technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) at the heart of its projects.

Would you like to play this key role in the success and growth of a dynamic company in the industrial sector in line with these new markets? We're looking for a passionate SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPER to take the lead in identifying, creating and managing new business opportunities. Working closely with the Top Management, you'll help develop impactful growth strategies and achieve our company's ambitious business goals.

You will report directly to the CEO and CODIR.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Market analysis: you'll dive into in-depth market analysis to decipher trends, competition and emerging opportunities. You'll transform these insights into growth strategies aligned with our vision;
  2. Prospecting and acquiring new markets: become a business detective, actively identifying new opportunities with potential customers, partners and markets. Build strong relationships with strategic partners and pave the way for tomorrow's customers;
  3. Business strategy development: work closely with management to create powerful strategic plans and innovative business tactics. Implement initiatives that will boost brand awareness and maximize revenues;
  4. Developing the company's external image: make our company shine on LinkedIn, be the face of our company at trade fairs, collaborate with the media, dominate social networks and keep our website and LinkedIn corporate page alive;
  5. Input and analysis: prepare reports on opportunities identified and challenges encountered. Use these reports to agilely adjust our strategies and tactics.
  6. Business Manager leadership and support: lead each weekly sales meeting with the Business Managers. Play an active role in negotiating contracts, creating compelling offers and ensuring that payment instalments, penalties, risks, etc. are accurate.
  7. Be the central contact (Single Point of Contact) for major project tenders.

Are you the candidate we're looking for?

You have a commercially oriented degree with experience in the industrial sector, or a technically oriented degree with commercial experience. And you have a minimum of 5 years' experience. You have managed large-scale offers and commercial contracts (from 10 million to 50 million euros).

In terms of soft skills, we're looking for someone with:

  1. effective communication: you'll be a communication and a negotiation expert, persuading both in writing and orally. You'll embody our company in the eyes of prospects and partners;
  2. assertive and commercial digital communication;
  3. active listening: you'll need to be attuned to the needs and concerns of the markets, and stay open to the slightest opportunity for Verdon. Understand the challenges to position our company with the players offering the right solutions in all Value Chain;
