Drive innovation in biotech manufacturing-join us as a Manufacturing Process Engineer and shape the future of safe, efficient biologics production. R&D Partners is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join a leading biotech/biologics organization in Belgium. This role focuses on performing production activities and associated analyses in a cGMP environment to ensure stable, safe, and efficient production processes. The ideal candidate will also support project work, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location. Responsibilities: Preparation: Review and discuss instructions, guidelines, and priorities with the supervisor or client. Make practical preparations and maintain a clear overview of tasks regarding timing, quantity, type, and quality. Production Process: Perform, measure, analyze, and monitor activities linked to the production process. Safely execute process steps in compliance with cGMP regulations to ensure efficient production and avoid product loss. Documentation & Review Ensure accurate and correctly completed written and electronic documentation during work execution. Maintain traceability and accuracy of performed tasks per applicable procedures. Standards & Procedures: Ensure compliance with legislation, standards, and regulations to maintain the quality of work and end products. Promote a safe and efficient working environment while minimizing occupational risks. Information & Reporting: Exchange and provide updates on ongoing and planned work using various systems. Report status, progress, issues, and deviations to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner. Continuous Improvement: Identify problems and propose improvements to current processes. Co-develop and implement concrete improvement initiatives to enhance quality, effectiveness, and efficiency. Key Skills and Requirements: Hands-on operational experience with buffer preparation, filtration, chromium steps, and TFF during Phase III clinical trials of new molecules. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. 3-5 years of relevant experience in a cGMP environment. Strong theoretical knowledge and practical experience within the biotech/biologics field. Ability to independently perform routine and non-routine production activities. Thorough technical knowledge of products, equipment, and methods.
