Reporter is een van de meest veelzijdige en gebruiksvriendelijke sensormodules op de Europese markt. Om onze groei van start-up naar scale-up waar te maken, zoeken wij een Senior R&D Engineer Embedded Software (locatie: Zwijnaarde). Wie zoeken we? Onze ideale kandidaat heeft volgende ervaring: Sterke ervaring in een R&D functie Ervaring met 32bit ARM cortex M0/3/4 zoals STM32 microcontrollers Ervaring met RTOS systemen (bij voorkeur Zephyr) Programmeren met het oog op energiezuinigheid / stroomverbruik Datasheets van componenten interpreteren en begrijpen Diepgaande kennis van embedded systems, met de nadruk op embedded software (C en C++) Je hebt ervaring met Git Ervaring met troubleshooting en debugging van embedded systems met kennis van call stack, memory pointers, stack/heap, etc… Diepgaande kennis van microcontroller peripherals, interrupts en digitale IC’s (Battery controller, IO expanders, ADC, externe EEPROM/Flash, Power management IC’s, ...) Masterdiploma elektronica (industrieel of burgerlijk ingenieur) of gelijkwaardig door ervaring Een uitstekende kennis van het Nederlands met een minimale basis van Engels. Je hebt oog voor detail en levert kwaliteit Mooi meegenomen: Ervaring met CoAP en protobuf Kennis van hardware design en analoge elektronica (parasitaire effecten van circuits en componenten) Ervaring met Linux omgevingen, API's, cloud (GCP), stacks, tools Ervaring met sensoren, sensorprotocollen en bussen Een start-up omgeving zonder managers of bureaucratie Een hardcore softwarefunctie waarin je de vrijheid en verantwoordelijkheid krijgt om design decisions te maken en te realiseren Mee aan het roer staan van de cloud afdeling van een scale-up met ambitieuze Europese groeiplannen Je bouwt mee aan onze missie om de productie van elektronica en de maakindustrie in het algemeen terug naar België en Europa te brengen.
