We are currently looking for a strong and dynamic Sales Director, well experienced in Sales strategy and managing teams to develop and grow all revenue channels in our Belgian business.

This key role will oversee day to day Sales operations, while focusing on the growth of the business.

The Sales Director will be part of the Belgian Management team and will report to the Director Ecowater Belgium.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, optimize and drive execution of the Sales strategy for all channels within our Benelux business.
  • Elaborate the annual Sales budget plans and provide monthly update & progress reports.
  • Execute market mapping, understanding channel conflicts, impact of competitor activity and products.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of sales reports and other sources of information to adjust and improve performance and processes, with a very close focus on our B2C business.
  • Actively search for and realize opportunities to grow our business, whether through partnerships or new initiatives.
  • Ensure the commercial relationships with (key) customers are handled appropriately via the B2C and B2B Sales teams, and personally manage the national key-accounts.
  • Coaches and develops the Inside Sales, B2C and B2B Sales teams on best practices for managing commercial challenges, contract issues, handling daily items and tasks, incl. promoting a culture of growth mindset, continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Prepare and run regular meetings with the Sales teams.
  • Create a spirit of teamwork and cohesion throughout the different channels and functions within the company.
  • Convey a positive and professional image of the company with all stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • You are in possession of a degree in business or commercial education or similar.
  • Proven track record in terms of sales experience, ideally in both B2C and B2B sales channels.
  • You show strong analytical skills and aptitude for data-driven decision making.
  • Experience with Marketing practices, especially market mapping, is a plus.
  • Significant experience in managing teams with the ability to inspire and motivate your team.
  • Having work experience in an international environment is a significant advantage.
  • Structured and result-oriented way of working.
  • Extremely high customer orientation.
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Energetic, inventive and positive.
  • Perseverant with integrity and honesty.
  • High flexibility, commitment, self-motivation and resilience.
  • Fluent in Dutch, French and English, both spoken and written.
  • Good PC skills (MS Office – ERP – Sales Management systems).
