Senior Developer ERPHerentalsThis role is instrumental in STG’S ERP modernization strategy, focusing on developing a high-performance ERP ecosystem. As a Senior ERP Developer, you will develop features, define functional requirements, design solutions and implement new functionalities in our ERP software for STG, leveraging Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Your efforts will ensure system scalability, integration with other business systems, and alignment with BME’s best practices, enabling operational excellence and streamlined workflows. This is how your job looks likeDevelopment and Customization: Development of customized features, extensions, and configurations within Dynamics 365 Business Central. Utilize AL and C/AL programming languages to implement solutions that align with functional requirements and support cross-market reusability. Engineering and Collaboration: Work closely with functional analysts, business stakeholders, and ERP developers from STG/BME Center of Excellence to translate business needs into scalable ERP solutions. Offer technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring robust and high-quality deliverables. Define functional requirements: perform technical analysis, and establish a comprehensive blueprint for system configuration, customization, and integrations that align with STG’s operational and business needs. Continuous Improvement and Optimization: Actively seek opportunities to optimize ERP architecture and processes. Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in ERP development, proposing and implementing best practices to maintain a modern and efficient system. Data Management and Integration: Design and implement data structures, migration strategies, and integrations with other systems, such as CRM and supply chain platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and consistent information across the organization. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide high-level troubleshooting for technical issues within the ERP system, offering Level 2 support. Oversee and address complex ERP challenges, working towards sustainable solutions and enhancing system reliability. The key functional competences we are looking for Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, with strong knowledge of AL and C/AL programming, SQL databases, cloud and on-premise based ERP solutions. Analytical Thinking: Ability to translate complex business needs into technical specifications and deliver innovative solutions that enhance process efficiency and system performance. Problem Solving: Skilled in identifying issues, analyzing root causes, and implementing effective solutions that align with both technical standards and business objectives. Collaboration and Communication: Strong team player with the ability to work cross-functionally, bridging technical and functional teams within STG but also within the BME Competence Center. Fluent in Dutch and English; The experience and knowledge you bringMinimum of 3 years of experience in ERP Development, particularly within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field; equivalent work experience may be considered. Solid understanding of ERP integration methods, infrastructure, and experience with DevOps practices for ERP systems.
