Your Role As a General Ledger Accountant , you will join a compact finance team and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial data. You will work in close collaboration with the Finance Manager and cover a Benelux scope, with exposure to group standards and international reporting requirements. This position is ideal for someone who wants to be involved in the full accounting cycle, understand financial flows end-to-end, and evolve in an international setting without heavy bureaucracy. Your Responsibilities (by key areas) General Accounting & Closings Contribute to monthly and annual closings in line with local and group accounting standards Manage provisions, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations Oversee fixed assets and depreciation processes Group & Intercompany Environment Monitor and validate intercompany transactions within the Benelux perimeter Coordinate accounting flows between group entities Support group reporting, financial analyses, margin reviews and stock movements Tax, Compliance & Audits Prepare and validate VAT and related statutory declarations Participate in internal and external audit processes Support regulatory requirements and ad hoc reporting requests Processes & Continuous Improvement Act as a key point of contact for the financial ERP system Contribute to the optimisation of accounting processes and best practices Collaborate cross-functionally with local and international stakeholders Profile Sought Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience 2-4 years of experience in general ledger accounting Comfortable in an international, multi-entity environment Strong command of French, Dutch and English Analytical mindset, flexibility and solution-oriented approach Ability to work autonomously while remaining a strong team player The Offer Gross monthly salary up to €5,000 (x13.92), depending on experience Annual performance-related bonus Meal vouchers (€8), group insurance and hospitalization insurance Net allowances linked to teleworking 26 days of leave + seniority days Flexible working hours and up to 2 days of remote work after onboarding Friendly, international and non-bureaucratic work environment A role offering real task variety and strong learning potential Austin Bright is a team of professional and dedicated consultants, specialized in the recruitment of finance profiles.
