Our client is a dynamic services company headquartered in Brussels, operating across Belgium. Known for its client-focused approach and commitment to excellence, the company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trilingual Accountant (French, Dutch, English) to strengthen its finance team.As a Trilingual Accountant, you will play a key role in managing the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. You will liaise with both internal teams and external stakeholders, using your language skills to ensure smooth communication in a multicultural environment.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, general ledger entries).Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with Belgian accounting standards.Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.Handle VAT declarations, tax filings, and liaise with auditors when required.Reconcile accounts, monitor cash flow, and support payroll processes.Communicate effectively with stakeholders in French, Dutch, and English.Support process improvements within the finance function.ProfileBachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.3–5 years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in a services company or similar environment.Strong knowledge of Belgian GAAP and VAT legislation.Proficiency in French, Dutch, and English (written and spoken) is mandatory.Advanced Excel skills; experience with accounting software is an asset.Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.Team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.
