We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Mainframe System Engineers to join our dynamic team. Job Description Mainframe System Engineers will be responsible for managing and maintaining mainframe applications in IMS and DB2, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. They will configure and upgrade z/OS applications, including IMS, DB2, TWS and related software. Mainframe System Engineers will also monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and performance. They will manage Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS) for job scheduling and automation. Additionally, Mainframe System Engineers will administer and maintain DB2 databases, including model changes, spufi's, performance tuning, backup, and recovery. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement system enhancements and upgrades. Mainframe System Engineers will develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and processes. They will provide technical support and guidance to other IT staff and end-users. Mainframe System Engineers will ensure compliance with security policies and procedures. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Proven experience as a Mainframe System Engineer or similar role Strong knowledge of z/OS operating systems, TWS, and DB2 Strong knowledge of REXX/ISPF Proficiency in system performance monitoring and troubleshooting Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Mainframe System Engineers to grow their careers and contribute to the success of our organization.
