Role: Senior Azure Data EngineerLocation: Brussels BELanguage: French/DutchRequirements:As a Senior Azure Data Engineer, you are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure data pipelines on the Microsoft Azure platform. You play a key role in delivering reliable data to Data Science, BI, and business teams.Key Responsibilities:o Design and develop data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or other Azure services.o Implement modern data architectures (Data Lake, Delta Lake, Lakehouse).o Automate data ingestion, transformation, and exposure processes.o Maintaining the Microsoft Azure platformo Optimize performance and manage cloud costs.o Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders to understand needs and propose suitable solutions.o Document data flows, models, and best practices.Required Technical Skills:o Proficiency with Azure services: Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Key Vault, Azure DevOps.o Experience with distributed data processing frameworks (Spark, PySpark, Databricks).o Strong skills in SQL, Python, and/or Scala.o Knowledge of CI/CD principles applied to data engineering.o Experience with Power BI administration and governanceProfile:o Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.o Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role.o Analytical mindset, attention to detail, autonomy, and team spirit.o Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.Nice to Have:o Microsoft Azure certification (e.g., DP-203).o Databricks certification (e.g., Databricks Data Engineer Associate)o Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.o Familiarity with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).o Basic SAP knowledge (S4/Hana as a major data source)Languageso French or Dutch : nativeo Seconde language French or Dutch: goodo English: good
