We are currently looking for a machining production leader.

What does the job entail?

Their main goal is to measurably improve production efficiency and product quality for customers.

Your duties and responsibilities

As Production Leader Machining, you will be the point of contact for your fellow operators in case of questions about machining operations. Through your extensive knowledge of machining, you will not only support your team, but also actively contribute to the further development of Hannecard. With the transition from conventional to CNC machining, you get the opportunity to apply your expertise and further optimise the production process. Hannecard currently has two modern CNC lathes of the Okuma brand and continues to invest in expansion and renewal of its machinery to be ready for the future.
You also prepare personnel and production schedules, make project calculations and compile quotations. You are responsible for liaising with tool suppliers, as well as for their maintenance and optimisation to ensure top-quality machining of products.

Furthermore, your role includes:
  • Maintaining overview of the workplace and keeping it in order.
  • Continuing to implement the CAM package Fusion360.
  • Visiting other Hannecard sites.

    Immediate permanent contract with Hannecard. After a 100-day trial period, you will receive an open-ended contract.
  • Attractive salary and benefits:
    A gross monthly salary between €3,500 and €5,000 depending on experience, supplemented by a meal voucher of €8 per day worked, a commuting allowance of €0.27 per km, pension scheme via the CLA Chemicals, a 13th month, and 20 days of leave for a 38-hour working week.
  • Day shift: you work Monday to Friday from 7:30 to 16:30, with an hour lunch break.
  • Investing in your growth: Hannecard provides training and courses specific to your field and thinks about your personal development.
  • Clothing and PPE: A full workwear package, including safety shoes.
    Attendance bonus: If you are present the whole month, you will receive €25 net extra.

What does Hannecard expect from you as Production Manager Machining?

You have completed a technical education, for example in machining or mechanical engineering, or you have relevant experience in machining operations. Experience with CAD/CAM programming is a plus, but not a must.
